'94 Suzuki
Home ClymerManual Jardines

I bought a '94 Suzuki 800 Intruder on Sept. 25, 1999. It was for sale on consignment at Fox Valley Cycles. It had 7313 miles on it and looked to be in cherry condition. The previous owner had added large saddle bags, a fork pouch, aux headlight bar complete with visors, a red/clear fade windshield, tank bra, chrome/rubber grips, laced leather clutch/brake lever covers, crash bars, highway pegs, and Harley "Live to Ride. Ride to Live." gold/chrome mirrors and license plate frame.

I started a journal for it like the other bikes even though I'm not rebuilding this one. I figure it might be nice to recall some of the things I do to or experience with this ride. If you're interested, follow this link: Journal

The parking lot at work isn't a great backdrop, but the lighting is great:

The backdrop at home is much nicer, but the lighting isn't as good by that time of day:

If anyone has any questions about Intruders or just wants to talk bikes with a great bunch of people, I highly recommend the Intruder Alert web site. The "Intruder Alert Message Board" in the "Intruder Cafe" is definitely the place to be!

The Mustang saddle is here! Check this out:
